The fast, furry, and furious! A lynx shifter, pursued by a cryptid trophy hunter. A wolf shifter desperate to rescue a lover who's not just his fated mate—but his one true pairing across past lives. And a love that transcends time.

Lynx shifter Noah Wilson narrowly escaped being captured by the Huntsman. While recuperating in Fox Hollow, he meets his fated mate, wolf shifter Drew Lowe.

Noah has to return to Canada to finish filming his TV projects, so he and Drew visit when they can and come up with creative solutions to their long-distance relationship. Noah and Drew are sure they're meant for each other and start making plans.

Drew's dreams make him wonder if he and Noah are more than fated mates—could they be a true pairing, destined to find each other lifetime after lifetime?

Then Noah accidentally records a murder, and the killer is on his trail. Can he elude a master tracker and reach the safety of Fox Hollow, or will he and Drew have to wait to find happiness in another life?

Again is a thrill-packed MM shifter romance adventure full of sexy shifters, hurt/comfort, one true pairing, reincarnation, sincere psychics, hunky mechanics, first responders, a sexy wildlife photographer, found family, and fated mates.

As you already know, I'm a big fan of Morgan Brice and I know all her amazing urban fantasy novels quite well, so obviously I am glad that "Fox Hollow Zodiac" series has also got its continuation. "Again" is the second full novel in the series, and at the same time it reveals a completely new element in the vast universe created by the author. There is a theme in "Again" that appears in Morgan Brice's works for the first time. In this way, we see that from novel to novel, the author's universe flourishes, expands, becomes enriched with something new. I really like it because we can see that the world created by Morgan Brice has not been fully explored yet and may surprise us at any moment. I remember as if it was yesterday when the author, writing as both Morgan Brice and Gail Z. Martin, started adding some new elements to her world. It really amazed and excited me. Right now I'm similarly thrilled and delighted. "Fox Hollow Zodiac" reveals so many new possibilities of the universe that I'm falling in love with it once again.

I'm sure that some people started to wonder what I mean exactly, so I will introduce you to this "new element", which I mention above. True pairing is the main reason behind this fuss. Lovers who are reborn in new bodies to be together again. To be even more precise, it is all about the reincarnation of souls who find each other again and again and are together until death, to be reborn again and relive their love story yet again, albeit at different times. What's interesting, true pairing is the main topic of "Again", so this novel we focus on a story about love that conquers time and death. I think it is an incredibly interesting theme that gives the author a lot of possibilities. What's more, as the universe of Morgan Brice, and thus Gail Z. Martin, includes both fated mates and true pairing, I suspect that the boundary between these two themes will be repeatedly emphasized and examined. I am happy because who knows what will come to the author's mind.

In my opinion, in "Again" love that beats time and death is not the only important theme, as friendship is equally essential. The author has managed to outline the story of Noah and Drew in such a way that the reader notices one significant and very clear difference between their lives now and those they had lived in the past. For when, while reading a novel, we reflect on what constitutes an advantage of our heroes over their past situation, friends immediately come to mind. I would add that this group also includes Russ, Drew's brother. Morgan Brice shows her readers excerpts from the memories of our main characters, their dreams, focusing on two lovers, and this is a stark contrast to their daily life, which is strongly marked by their loved ones, acquaintances and friends they can rely on. Friendship is one of the most important elements in the author's works and I am glad that in "Again" it occupies such a key place.

Reviewing "Again" I would like to highlight one more, important and unique element that characterizes the entire series of "Fox Hollow Zodiac", namely the shapeshifters. Although "Again" does not focus in any particular way on Fox Hollow and the community of this city (if you want to know more about these topics then you should read the Fox Hollow Zodiac short stories), in this volume we can notice a significant difference between the Morgan Brice series and so many other series on the market. Fox Hollow is a city inhabited not only by shapeshifting predators such as wolves, bears and bobcats. In this town we come across a moose, a dog, a goat and many other creatures. What's more, people with various magical abilities live and work next to the shifters. Simply put, Fox Hollow is a city of fantastic variety, which really deserves our appreciation.

In summary, "Again" is a novel that is clearly different from the previous volume in the series, as well as from the author's other novels. This story not only introduces new characters and allows us to better get to know the ones we have already met, but above all it gives us the opportunity to discover completely new secrets of Morgan Brice's universe. This is a must read to fans of the author, people who have a weakness for shapeshifters, as well as anyone who wants to go on a great, interesting adventure.

Excerpt

“I wish you could see this view in person—except for how cold it is.” Noah snapped a photo that didn’t do the colors of dawn justice, and sent it with his text to Drew.

He waited for a reply and realized Drew probably wasn’t awake yet. No one in their right mind is up at this hour.

He’d made the best of the cramped hotel room, knowing from experience to bring an extra blanket, good pillow, books, and power strips. Hotels never had enough outlets to charge his cameras. Fortunately, travel wasn’t a constant, but staying overnight to get the right light or have time to set up cameras happened fairly often.

Will that be a problem with Drew? Will he resent my photography? It’s a demanding job.

Noah cleaned his lenses and checked his batteries as he packed his day bag. Travel made it easy to find overnight company without entanglement, and he’d long ago grown tired of waking up alone. He’d had a serious relationship back in film school, which fizzled after graduation. There were a few boyfriends who lasted more than a month or two, but his irregular hours always ended up being more than anyone wanted to deal with for long.

Can it be different with Drew? We felt such an immediate bond—I’ve never had a connection like that with anyone. It’s like we’ve known each other forever.

“Of course. We’re fated mates,” his lynx reminded him, as if Noah could forget.

He smiled, thinking of their conversation that ended only a few hours ago. It wasn’t just the sex—although that was combustible in a way Noah had never experienced before. Everything took on a different light when it involved Drew. Talking about the trivial activities of the day wasn’t boring. Sharing a movie or even reading the same book and talking about their reactions now felt satisfying and fun.

I’m a Cancer—we’re protective and defend our family. Except I don’t really have any.

Noah didn’t have many living relatives. His father had vanished when he was young, and his mother died two years ago from a bad heart. He had a brother and sister, but they drifted apart, and Noah hadn’t heard from them in years. He wasn’t sure he even had valid addresses for them.

Drew is my mate. He’s my family now. And he has Russ and Liam and their friends. A pack. Someday, they’ll be my pack.

Clowder, his lynx sniffed. Lynxes have a clowder, not a pack.

Sounds like soup.

Clowder is not chowder, silly human. But we could vote to let Drew be an honorary lynx and join.

Vote? Who—you and me?

We are the only ones in our clowder now. It would be nice to add our mate—even if he is a dog.

Wolf.

Canine.

I’ve fallen hard. And it should scare me. But it doesn’t. When I worry that he might not feel the same, I can’t breathe
