Asbjørn has been deaf to Connor's courtship for a long time without revealing the reason behind his behavior. However, when the boy is kidnapped by the demon of his past, the man slowly begins to question his decision to push the young assassin away, as he has already felt in love with him. Although finding Connor is a priority, waiting for someone else to find his beloved can be extremely frustrating.
Meanwhile, Connor is forced to think about the evens of his painful past, relive some of them and do everything in his power to survive until his friends would be able to find and save him.

"T.A.G. You're Heard" is the second volume of "The Assassins' Guild" by A.G. Carothers, a series that I really liked from the day I started reading its first installment. Just like in the previous case, also in this novel the characters whose story we follow reading this book are really interesting, lovable and simply amazing. I admit, since we already met Connor and Oz in "T.A.G. You're Seen", we had the opportunity to like them, but now our love for them can finally spread its wings. Its even easier than you think as both men are fascinating not only because of who they are now, but also because we look at them through the image of their past. Thus, Connor's and Oz's individual stories draw us into their depths, into their complicated, dramatic world. Even if the novel isn't rich in detail about how the lives of the two leads looked like before they joined the Guild, A.G. Carothers tells us enough that we can fill the gaps ourselves and love those characters even more.

An extremely absorbing and interesting motif that we find in "T.A.G. You're Heard" is the problem Asbjørn struggles with. I admit that I didn't expect it at first, but very quickly I began to absorb every word about the reason why Oz rejected Connor. I didn't need much to more or less guess what the problem is, but in this story A.G. Carothers surprises us anyway, or at least I was somewhat pleasantly surprised when it turned out that even in the seemingly incredibly difficult, hopeless situation a spark of hope can be found. It is for this reason that we really love the way the said problem is presented. And to be honest, we are delighted reading about it, which is probably the wrong word to use in this context and it probably should make us sad instead. Let me also add that in this case we are undoubtedly dealing with a rather unique problem, which in an understandable way reflects on Oz and his relations with Connor.

Another thing that I think is really noteworthy is the fact that to some extent both Connor and Asbjørn are broken. Both share a difficult, dramatic past that left scars on their souls (and bodies) that cannot be completely forgotten. In "T.A.G. You're Heard" these scars are scratched so hard that they begin to bleed again, so that the reader can clearly see how they actually affect the characters. That is why I like so much the fact that at the same time we can see how these newly opened wounds are treated. Simply put, Connor and Oz are both broken and need each other to put pieces of their souls and hearts together. They are both what the other person needs, they are able to meet their mutual needs in a natural way that suits their character. They're a perfect match, and what's the most important they are spiritually perfect for each other.

Undoubtedly, the big advantage of "T.A.G. You're Heard" is also the fact that the reader can find in this novel a daddy kink theme, which A.G. Carothers approaches in a manner which says: we are not like the most, so our kink doesn't have to be a standard one, it can be unique, just as we are unique. In other words, the daddy kink motif in this novel challenges established patterns, and I really love it. Although it's often like that in my case, as I love it when a popular pattern is changed, it's not a rule. That's why you can be sure that if in the case of "T.A.G. You're Heard" I think it's an advantage, it really is one. The more so because A.G Carothers challenges many different patterns to give their characters and their relationship a unique vibe that's created especially for them.

In summary, "T.A.G. You're Heard" is a really great novel that I can highly recommend to you with a clear conscience. The reader finds here some noteworthy dramas, great uncertainty about the fate of the wonderful characters, a unique relationship between them and an incredibly interesting story that really draws us in.

Excerpt
I had been fantasizing about the time I finally got Oz to bend me over his knee and spank me. It was during Yoshi's promotion party. A few months after we'd gotten Dmitry back Dad promoted Yoshi to Mr. C. It wasn't unusual to have two agents with the same rank/codename. It happened frequently in the lower ranks, but in upper management it was rare. This led to Yoshi being called Mr. C2 around HQ to avoid any confusion.
Dad wanted Yoshi to start learning more about management as soon as possible. He still wasn't planning on stepping down for another few years, but he wanted to spend more time with Nigel than over paperwork. No one could blame him. I took the opportunity to get a little tipsy and tease Daddy.
We were in the main dining hall and the music was going, drinks were flowing. I enlisted the help of Karl and Ricky to add a dash of jealousy to my tease. I got them both stacks of ৳10 banknotes. The pink bills were perfect for stuffing in places they shouldn't be. One of the DJs from The Black Dragon was there, and I had conspired with him earlier in the week to play a song for me. I practiced for weeks the routine I was going to do. I wasn't the best dancer, but I could shake my butt. I was determined to Magic Mike the fuck out of Daddy and seduce him to my bed.
The song right before my song was almost over, and I climbed up on the table in the center of the hall. Oz was talking to Dad and Nigel and not paying any attention to me. That was about to change. I had on a clean white tank top and my black break away jogging pants with dark green briefs with white trim underneath. I had thought about wearing one of my lace booty shorts underneath, but I didn't want all the other guards and agents to see what belonged to Daddy. I knew there was a fine line between naughty and disrespect.
The beat started slow and hard. My hips popped and my body rolled. My eyes locked on the hulking form still across the room. Whistles rent the air. My body dropped to the table, and I ground against the surface, popping my butt up and down. More people gathered around the table, both men and women, cheering and shouting. Pink, blue, and green bills spilled across the table. Daddy was standing at the end of the table with his arms crossed over his chest. They bulged and flexed under the baby blue shirt he wore. His hair was down, but half the side was braided against his skull in several braids and then left loose. There were a few braids in his luscious beard. He was a Viking god with black eyeliner and blue sparkled eye shadow that matched his t-shirt.
I hopped back up to my feet and whipped my tank top off, tossing it wherever. I rolled and thrust my way down the table. Daddy's gaze burned through me the whole way down. I beat slow and spread my legs wide, crouching low as my hips continued to roll. I put my hands on my thighs and gripped the fabric tightly. I licked my lips and stared Daddy right in his crystalline blue eyes. We both knew what was coming next, and he slowly shook his head.
I thrusted up hard and ripped my pants off in one smooth motion as the music crested. The cheers got louder, and I twirled around. I bent over and twirked my squat booty right in Daddy's face. I knew he wouldn't miss the "Daddy's" spelled out in white letters across my ass. Before I knew what was happening, I was spun around and flung over Daddy's shoulder. Whistles and cheers followed us as Oz almost jogged out of the hall.
